Meanwhile, at the other end of the Mediterranean:

Religion serves primarily as a justification of established power. From the times when the tyrant who was granted with secular power was together the admitted representative of God until today where these two functions are separated, religions and politics have always been used to reinforce each other.

In the past, this interlacing was considered by the people as the normality. But slowly,  most of the people in the world have understood that religions have created the gods they pretend to serve only to grab some power and wealth for themselves. Today, mankind is fed up with this association of Fiat power between seculars and religious.

This is more or less the reason behind Pussy Riot rebellion against Putin/Orthodox as it is presently in Turkey against Erdogan/Islamists and many other similar events.

The Jewish religion is maybe the greatest culprit of all in that it advocates the submission to every secular power in the world and as such gives its blessing to all actual powers world round, from capitalist America to communist Brazil - well understood there is no difference between capitalism & communism as two apparent opposite in the same hands of power.

Only Christianity surpasses it in that it has taken the role of secular oppressors too many times in history.

Mankind is done with these slaves who worship in a same breath fictitious gods and too much real oppressors.

The only religion man would consider with respect would be one that stands against tyranny and that blesses nature and its gifts to humanity, as a preliminary, and not the contrary.
